Local 1120 was formed in December 1999 to represent and promote the interests of its membership comprised of Arkansas State University,
Jonesboro, Arkansas, faculty and staff employees. Although Local 1120 is in its infancy its membership is actively involved in local,
state and federal politics and election procedures. Our immediate goals consist of proper organization, voter registration, political support of candidates
promoting collective bargaining and the advancement of Arkansas State University not only as an institution of higher learning but as a rewarding and satisfying place of
